[2012/06/05]3M Hong Kong sponsors ORBIS Creative Eye-Care Campaign 2012



Four years in a row, 3M Hong Kong has supported ORBIS Creative Eye-care Campaign. This year, 25 kindergartens were invited to participate. More than 2,200 pupils learnt to take care of their eyes by following the delicious and nutritious recipes distributed by the organizer. They also designed and created their own Bunny Coin Boxes with their parents by using various recycled materials. They then used the boxes to raise funds from their families and friends.

This campaign not only teaches children how to take good care of their eyes by adopting some good habits, but also allows them to share their love with other children in the world. This year, the kindergarten pupils and their families raised over HK$185,000 and bring hopes to those who are suffering from severe eye diseases in the Third World.

The award presentation ceremony of ORBIS Creative Eye-Care Campaign 2012 was held on 2 June at Plaza Hollywood. 3M sponsored Polarizing Task Light as prizes. Ms. Cynthia Lai, Manager of Corporate Marketing and Public Affairs of 3M Hong Kong, being one of the judges for the "Top Ten Beautiful Bunny Coin Boxes", received the Thank-you certificate from ORBIS on behalf of the company.
